Quinta do Monte

Quinta do Monte is a unique Madeira hotel located in the heart of the picturesque and historic village of Monte, perched in the hills of Funchal, only a two minute walk away from the cable car terminal and the departure point of the famous wickerwork toboggans.

The original manor house was beautifully restored and now accommodates vast public areas including the lobby with reception, a lounge, a cocktail bar, a reading room and a billiard room. All the tastefully decorated 42 rooms, including spacious family rooms and suites with up to four beds, are located in a new wing. They are equipped with bathroom, mini-bar, direct-dial telephone, cable TV, private safe, air-conditioning/heating as well as a balcony overlooking the gardens and offering wonderful views over the Atlantic, the mountains and the city of Funchal.
